When I was five, I lived in the Ivory Coast for two whole years. I spent first and second grade there. During my early years in Ivory Coast, I experienced significant changes in my worldview and underwent new cultural differences. Then, at eleven, I made summer visits to both Nigeria and the Ivory Coast. With every visit, I encountered learning experiences that included family traditions and entirely different viewpoints on life. Those very summers have profoundly influenced my world view along the way and helped me evolve into a person continuously eager to embrace different cultures and lifestyles.
